CHAN 2024: Morocco, Tunisia and Libya automatically qualified for the final phase.




The teams of Morocco, Tunisia and Libya have automatically qualified for the final phase of the African Nations Championship for local players (CHAN), which will be held from February 1 to 28, 2025 in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, announced the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Wednesday in Cairo, on the sidelines of the draw for this competition.



 

The Moroccan national team of local players was crowned twice in 2018 and 2020, alongside DR Congo, who won the title in 2009 and 2016, while Tunisia was crowned in 2011 and Libya in 2014. The title of the 2022 edition went to Senegal.
